A 22-calendar year-aged fitness center coach has been arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly stalking and harassing far more than 100 gals on Fb and other social media platforms, reported officers on Saturday. The accused, Vikas Kumar, allegedly sent obscene messages and videos to ladies and harassed them.
Law enforcement reported they been given a complaint of cyberstalking from a girl in the cash.
The complainant alleged the accused was harassing her by sending obscene messages and stalking her on the web even with her telling him not to do so. The accused also threatened the complainant, declaring he is aware of her individual specifics.
Amit Goel, Supplemental DCP (Southwest), claimed the Cyber group of the district contacted Facebook and uncovered the accused created phony IDs to focus on gals. All his facts were uncovered to be faux.
“We took out the cellphone selection connected to the account and tried out to trace it but it was with someone else. Our team then discovered that the accused lives in the vicinity of the complainant’s home,” mentioned the officer.
Kumar was identified and arrested from his residence.
During questioning, Kumar instructed police he experienced built Facebook accounts posing as a lady to deliver good friend requests to gals.
“We located a few accounts with more than 2,000 individuals in the friends’ listing. The accused was stalking more than a hundred women. He would also make online video calls to these women and flash them,” reported the officer.
Police reported the accused had been harassing the complainant for months.
