Spokane Town Council President announces cancer prognosis, depart to complete cure

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Metropolis Council President, Breean Beggs, declared his most cancers prognosis at Monday’s meeting.

Beggs explained he will be taking a go away of absence to entire chemotherapy and radiation treatment method.

He was diagnosed with cancer in June and shortly after experienced a tumor taken out from his tonsil.

“This remedy is fatiguing, but it will be well worth it to get again to my daily life and the men and women I like,” Beggs stated in a statement on Facebook.

Councilwoman Candace Mumm will be the City Council President Professional-tem right until Beggs returns.

“She and our committed team will maintain me educated and I will proceed to aim on my optimum priorities for the City,” Beggs said. “I enjoy your thoughts and support throughout this time and know that I am surrounded with awesome relatives and close friends.”

Beggs’ go away will contimnue as a result of August and September.
